About

This online journal seeks to present reflections—some scholarly, some popular, but all accessible and thoughtful—to articulate authentic traditional Orthodox Christian approaches to current spiritual, intellectual, moral, social, media, and artistic questions, through critique and apologetics. One section of each annual issue will feature peer-reviewed scholarly essays, while other sections will feature articles and creative work selected for apologetic, spiritual, and aesthetic value to the faithful and inquirers today; these may be scholarly as well. While annual, the journal site will be updated during the year with new material as submissions and editing permit, accessible to subscribers throughout the year. Cost of annual subscription $30, with scholarships for those with budget needs including international readers. Editor: Priest Paul Siewers, Ph.D., Bucknell University. Editorial Board: Priest Anthony Gilbert, Ph.D.; Priest Ignatius Green, Ph.D.; Priest Athanasios Yanes-Fernandez, Ph.D.; Fr. Deacon Sampson Nash, Ph.D., M.D.; Prof. David Bradshaw, Ph.D.; and Prof. Seraphim (Bruce) Foltz, Ph.D. Special thanks also to Archpriest Alexander Webster, Ph.D., Dean Emeritus of Holy Trinity Seminary, and to Archpriest John Whiteford, longtime faculty member of the St. John of Kronstadt Orthodox Pastoral School, for assisting with editing. For subscription, submissions, and other information please contact Priest Paul, priestpauls@pm.me, or 570-863-9039. Opinions expressed are not necessarily those of the advisory editorial board or the editor, who while taking responsibility for selections and editing, and striving to adhere to Orthodox traditional teachings, curates here a variety of views for discernment by readers who hopefully are rooted in or knowledgeable about those teachings.
